2026 is a turning point for Hungarian SME digitalisation

The DIMOP Plus-1.2.6/B grant opens on 31 March 2026 with a total budget of HUF 30 billion and a 90% non-refundable grant intensity. In practice this means: if your company qualifies, the state covers 90% of all digitalisation development costs, with only 10% co-financing required.

However, there is an important condition: a digital maturity assessment (on the official kkvdigital.dkf.hu platform) is mandatory for the application, and it must not be older than 60 days at the time of submission.

Medium-sized enterprises (50–249 employees) can access DIMOP Plus-1.2.3/A (50% grant + subsidised loan, max HUF 20M, rolling submissions). Our assessment is useful for both categories.

The HUF 30 billion budget could run out in days.

Based on the level of interest, the DIMOP Plus-1.2.6/B budget may be exhausted quickly. If you do not prepare in advance — assessment, strategy, quotes — you are already behind on opening day.

The digital assessment is mandatory, but not enough on its own.

The official DKF assessment places you in a category, but it does not tell you what to develop. In the grant application, however, you must justify why you chose a particular development. Without a well-considered strategy behind it, evaluators will notice.
